Mind you, that's a mighty big privilege and an even greater responsibility. Also, if we had full body armor, that would greatly decrease mobility. I'm happy with my second chance vest. I know that if I get struck, anywhere in my torso, that's all the second chance I need, because I'm hitting center mass and then T-band. Also, again, your ideas are expensive, but my force's SWAT team has ballistic resistant helmets and what-not. They're bulky, weigh a ton, and aren't 100% effective. Ipods help people.
